Professional snowboarder Brolin Mawejje’s career brought him from Uganda to Salt Lake City in pursuit of great snow. “I have blossomed by the mountains of Utah. Literally and figuratively,” he says. Mawejje’s journey has had its share of obstacles, including illness, which prevented him from competing in the 2022 Olympic qualifiers. He’s looking to the future for what’s next, but one thing stays true: on the snow is where Brolin finds his flow.
